Overview

Mwananchi is one of Tanzania’s leading digital news platforms, delivering real-time updates across politics, business, sports, entertainment, and social issues. The platform serves a large audience by providing structured and regularly updated content in Swahili, making it a key source of information for local readers.

The objective was to develop a scalable and content-driven news portal capable of handling high traffic, frequent content updates, and multiple content categories while maintaining performance and usability.

Our Role

We developed and optimised a Joomla-based news platform focused on high-content publishing, structured navigation, and performance. The website architecture was designed to efficiently manage large volumes of articles, multimedia content, and category-based news sections.

Our approach combined custom website development with responsive web design to ensure seamless accessibility across devices.

We implemented:
